Wow what an incredibly disappointing turn of events yesterday. I am so upset about Chuck Schumer’s reversal and his plan to support the Republican spending bill handing over more power to Trump and Musk and putting Medicaid, and more, at risk.
We need to flood his office with calls asap and let him know that we expect him to put up a fight against Trump/Musk, not rollover and hand them the keys to the castle.

I called Schumer and Gillibrand. Had to leave a message with Chuckles, but I actually spoke to a staffer at Gillibrand's NYC office. I read the script with some rather tearful variations. I hate that I cry when I am angry.
I've called several times today and have only gotten through once. I think we are flooding the phone lines! Keep calling!
